Tips for checking power supplies?

Tips for checking power supplies?

2008-04-06 by cockandswan

Hey guys,

I have a Juno-106 that stopped turning on a little while after I had
replaced a voice chip. I'm still learning about electronics and I'm
just looking for some pointers on how to use my multimeter (or
anything else in my lab at school) to test the fuse board, or power
supply board, or maybe even to test the transformer?

Thanks for any help,

-Johnny

Did you try checking the wires going to the power jack? They are
easily broken when opening 106s...

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
