Poly 800II Factory Settings

2008-08-03 by ronnypetty

Hi, a friend of mine accidently erased his presetsin his Poly 800II. I
am in need of a wave file of the original factory tape. If anyone knows
of one, or where a copy of the wave file is on the net. Any help is
greatly appreciated. Ron

If memory serves, the Poly 800 has MIDI dump capabilities. A simple dump would be easier to manage than a tape wave file. I remember having done the same thing on a friend's Poly 800; my DX7 was connected on it, and I accidentally dumped the memory. Korg's MIDI implementation was weak (buggy?) enough to accept the dump, and it reset everything. Needless to say my friend was rather moody for a while :-)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
