Good Wavestation needs keys/keyboard

Good Wavestation needs keys/keyboard

2009-09-15 by brofjw

HI all. This is actually my first post on here but I've been monitoring for awhile. My problem is a relatively simple one really, but I've had some trouble locating some parts I need. I have a Wavestation which is in immaculate condition except for two broken black keys, a C# and a D# side by side. I haven't had any luck finding keys specifically made for the Wavestation, but I've heard that keys for the DX7 and M1 are the same and both will fit the Wavestation too (true?). I would go so far as to buy a whole new keyboard(keybed) for the whole system if I have to, instead of searching far and wide for 2 stray keys. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance! :-)

You are right about the DX7 and M1 keys being the same as the keys for the wavestation.

http://sounddoctorin.com/synthtec/parts/key.htm has keys if you can't buy them from Korg or Yamaha. I just bought some Kawai K4 keys from Bob. Tell him I said Hi.... ;-)
