TECHNICS AX-7 - help needed

2009-12-15 by eons

Hi,
I have this Technics for repair it power's up alright.
All buttons work but no sound comes out from the tones/patches or rhythm section.
The LCD display also works alright.
I saw internal battery inside that checked ok.
A bassy reverberating wave sound is continuously heard coming from the speakers and it wouldn't go away.
Any suggestions please/ ideas of what to check.
All supplies seem to be ok although I do not have a schematic/sercive manual.
Thanks very much in advance.
Regards,
eons

If I remeber correctly, the same sound came out of headphone o/p; (bassy reverberating wave sound continuously heard).
But will check this again.
Many thanks for your help.
Any other ideas?
