JX3P sliders

JX3P sliders

2010-06-25 by GB

I just rescued a JX3P from the chopping block and I've managed to put it
back together and make it functional of sorts. I need all of the sliders and
2 of the caps (or I guess 3 nice caps of a different style). Here is what
they are:

Edit: 100k B
Brilliance: 100k B
Seq Rate: 1M A

If anyone has a source for these or even any leads, please let me know. I'm
in the USA.

Hi GB...What would help on these would be :

The travel in MM of the sliders and,

the distance between the leads on the sliders.

Have you tried RolandUS for parts yet?

You can also look them up at: http://www.vintageplanet.nl/pages/roland.html

I have ordered from them in the past for some rare and hard to find retro parts.

Cheers!

That's crazy talk. ;-) That never occured to me. Yes I just called them and
they have parts that are close enough that I think I can make it work. The
SH101 and probably others have similar parts, so if these are not suitable I
can take a second stab at it. Thanks.

HI I think roland has all the slider values for the jx3p except the seq
rate slider. YOu could get another value of the same slider from roland and
just swap the wiper in the one meg one.. cya analog-jeff

They only had the brilliance one, so I ordered 3 of those. Between them and the pieces I have laying around I can probably construct something suitable (I hope). They did have the caps (knobs) though, so that was a bonus.
Did you try the Pro One CPU module yet? I've updated it quite a bit since you bought it.
