Help identify these switches please

Help identify these switches please

2010-07-03 by GB

I'm working on a dorked Kawai R100 drum machine and I need to locate some
replacement switches. See the photo here:

http://musictechnologiesgroup.com/temp/switches.jpg

It's the blue one I'm mainly after. I think the black one is a standard Alps
switch (like you'd find in some PC keyboards from days gone by). The blue
one that I'm looking for appears to say JAE and D0 on it. It also looks
like I could disassemble and clean them, but while I have the beast open I
thought I would try to source replacements. They are used on the drum
machine for function selection and they bounce like crazy so it's hard to
make the intended choice.

The blue one was used on many products, the Kurz k1000 and k2000. Although the
color is black on the later versions, the knob and foot print are the same. I
think I once used the blue ones on something and found that the knobs that
worked with the black one would not clear the slightly smaller plunger, although
the knob mounts were the same.

Hi Grant

You don't indicate in which part of the world you are living! Here in the
UK all Kawai spares are obtainable from W D Greenhill & Co tel:
"01702-546195"; email: Nigel Greenhill [nigel@...].

Alternatively in Europe the central stores are in Germany so do a Google on
Kawai and look for an address ending in .de

Hope this helps.

Regards

Some possible subs for the switches along the left side (and number pad):

Plus it turns out that I have tons of the Alps ones at work (the ones used for the instruments).
