Nord Lead 2. Anyone have experience with the polyphony issue?

Hi again Ok - the lead 2 probably doesn't qualify as vintage but I though I'd ask anyway. I have a lead 2 here that only has 8 note polyphony when it should have 16. If I have a really short release, for example, the sound will usually end soon enough to allow the next note to trigger. However, if you increase the release significantly it won't allow more than 8 notes to get through. Also if you hit two handfuls of keys the notes will freeze, crash, and force you to restart. Anyone know where to start? Cheers
