Wurlitzer 200 amplifier capacitor substitutions?

Wurlitzer 200 amplifier capacitor substitutions?

2010-09-27 by Feurich

Hi all. Could anyone advise me as to what values I can substitute for the three aluminum electrolytic capacitors? The original are one 1000uf 50vdc, two are 500uf 50vdc. I'm sure they are out of production. Thanks!

The 1000uF/50V is a standard value so you should have no trouble finding one of those. Cornell Dubilier and Vishay/Sprague make 500uF/50V caps. Mouser has these, but they can be pricey. Otherwise, 470uF and 680uF are your closest bets. I'd go with the higher value.

Cheers,
Alex
