Jupiter 6 out of tune

Jupiter 6 out of tune

2011-10-17 by Nicolas

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to fix a Jupiter 6 that is out of tune.
The master tune potentiometer has to be completely to the left to tune the keyboard properly.
All the voices and the octaves are well tuned together.

I checked all the supply voltages according to the service manual and they seems to be fine.

Anybody has a hint to fix this problem?
Thank you!

Nicolas

Nicolas - if everything seems OK and all tht is 'wrong' is that the master tune pot is off centre then you probably need to "centre it" and then go through the calibration procedure.

I'm not familiar with the Jupe-6... do you have the service manual?

Cheers,
TOM

I have the service manual and there is no tuning procedure in it.
There is an auto-tune function on this keyboard.
Do you know anything about this circuit?
Thank you!

Hi,

I just found out that the synth is out of tune when the bender function is turned ON.
Anybody is familiar with this problem?

Nicolas

Hi,

I was able to fix the problem by making the adjustments on the bender board like described in the service manual.
Thank you!

Nicolas
