Korg MS-20: 240V to 120V conversion

2012-02-29 by Nicolas

Hi everybody,

Does anybody knows how to convert a European Korg MS-20 from 240 volts to 120 volts?
The transformer has 2 extra primary wires that are not connected but the schematics doesn't show how to connect it.

Thank you!

Most MS-20's have multiple primary taps, use a multimeter to determine the resistance of each tap, this will tell you which is the 240/220/120 taps.
