Arp Solina Bass note triggering problem

Arp Solina Bass note triggering problem

2012-09-06 by richardlordrivas

I was hoping I could get some help or pointed in the right direction. I am working on an ARP Solina IV that has an issue with the higher D# in the bass section. Whenever a note is played in the bass section, the D# triggers after the key being played is released. So you hit a C and release, the D# triggers. It is louder when you play one of the 4 notes above the D# then when you play one of the notes below the D#. Also it only happens when the contrabass or cello tabs are depressed. It does not trigger the note in the regular treble setting. I don't believe it is a contact or stopping diode issue since it only happens in Bass/Cello. I tried replacing both of the 709 chips in the bass circuit since one is labeled as suppression trigger and the other is labeled as clipper in the schematics. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
