XP 80 Battery Replacement

A few weeks ago I had asked if anyone knew what battery the XP 80 took. I was able to find that the battery is a MAXELL CR2032. Does anyone know how to replace it? I don't know if I need to have the power on in order to save the OS / settings or if it's okay to have the synth disconnected and the memory, settings, etc. remain in tact (I do not have any discs that might have came with the unit). Thanks in advance.
