Dead Mirage DMS-8 Rack Mount

Hi -
I have a Ensoniq Mirage rack mount that blew a fuse a few years ago. Hasn't fired up since. I replaced the fuse with the same type. I opened the unit (hate star screws!) and it looked clean and no smell or sight of trace burnouts anywhere. I tried to power it on but no go.
I have searched for a service manual to no avail. Is it worth fixing? Can it be fixed? I have tons of samples but may say the heck with it unless I can come up with a clue for this sucker. I know parts are few and far between and Syntaur has a few things, not much.
Is this a lost cause?
