Arp Mods

2002-10-28 by j9a2g52

I performed the resistor modification on the filter of my
Arp Avatar and got... no souind at all. The values of the
resistors removed were correctly identified according to the info I
have and the ones I put in were also the right ones. When I put
resistors of the original values back in it worked fine. Any
suggestions ?
That problem aside does anyone have in depth instructions on
how to put patch points on an Avatar ?

Ditto that, I'd *love* to find out more about putting in C.M.S. Style
patchpoints, especially if Phil Scirroco is no longer doing them
(which I recall hearing he might not be.)

I remember once on the AH list when people were talking about reverse
engineering the C.M.S. patchpoints mod. I wonder if it's as simple
as finding the right poit, cutting traces & running wires out to
normalled 1/8" jacks, or coud there be more complex buffering or
something that Phil does...

Would be great to cross patch between the Avatar and the 'ol
Keyboardless 2-voice.

Post this query on the ARP Odyssey email group. You'll get a lot of replies to this one! You can find a link to their group on the Email page of the Odyssey web site.
