Korg Poly61M - free to a good home....

2002-12-02 by Scott Carr

Hi all,

I have a Korg Poly 61M that is not reliably operational. Its primitive
MIDI out always works, but the internal sounds go in and out
intermittantly. I have had it repaired twice (by the same somewhat
irreputable guy) and have given up on it. The guy that repaired it said
it was the same chip both times that went, but I don't have details. I
DO have a few text files that have some info about the MIDI
implementation + (I think) a PDF of the schematic + will gladly include
a disk with these as well.

Since this is a freebie the interested party will need to make
arrangements for paying for shipping (not sure how this would work). It
is a bit heavy (wooden chassis). I'm an honest guy + just want this
little piece of history to go to someone who can either fix it for use
or scrap it for parts.

Please e-mail me offlist if you are interested + we can figure out the
details.

Scott
