Funny you should ask, I've been playing live with my
Wiard/Serge/Paia/Whatever setup once a month since Christmas, it's great
fun. I'll throw some pictures up from the last gig soon. This is mainly
drone type material where the filter settings and oscillator frequencies
get changed every once in a while, and on top of that goes E-bow
guitar. The basic method for live performance is a "super patch" which
has everything the might be needed. Sometimes a patch cord gets pulled out
or moved for dramatic effect.
Two of the oscillators in the system are actually PLLs on a heavily hacked
"wogglebug clone" PC board I bought from Romeo Fahl early this year. The
idea is to put dividers in the feedback loop of the PLLs as well as
prescale for Just Intonation. It's only partway working but is already
pretty interesting (to me anyway :). The other VCO is my trusty Wiard
Classic VCO which is serial number 1.
