Hello All, All the Woggle Bug orders will have shipped by next week. Seven of them have shipped this week. The Micro Wiard is going through a metamorphasis. I had origianlly intended to offer it as a 300 series module. Now I am going to try and offer it as an inexpensive ($199) desktop unit. It is intended to have a keyboard like a stylophone. I am still trying to debug the keyboard action for stability. The biggest problem is trying to figure out how to keep the price down, but still make lots of patch options available for experimenters. This version will also use surface mount technology for size and cost reduction. The Enveloopers module is intended to answer the question "How do you loop an ADSR envelope?". It will be a dual module, and each envelope will have three modes. The first mode is a standard ADSR with delay, or DADSR there will be an end pulse available and the two can be looped in AR mode with delay (kind of like the Synthi). The second mode is modeled after the MS-20, where the "delay" control is now used as a "hold" monostable. This will be loopable as a classic ADSR with adjustable gate time. The third mode is modelled after the Moog Satellite synth. The AD envelope repeats at a rate set by the delay control, and the output is modulated by the SR controls to for the "echo" envelopes of a digital delay. Rather nice in my humble opinion. The release dates of these two have been all bollocks up by the Sept. 11th disaster. But the plan is still to release them as funds become available (it takes about $2500 to tool up for a new module).
