Hi All,
I posted a jpg in the photo folder, more on that in a minute, but i
noticed several goodies that had escaped my attention before so if you
haven't browsed the photo file lately... take a look.
Responsible adults can use all the cheering-up they can get!

I posted an updated photo of my live rig: Two racks plus one
joystick controller box. There have been some updates to the SNO
(dubbed Small Nuclear Orchestra by Grant). The Oscillator block in the
upper right was reworked and hardened for live performance.
This rig (minus the Boogie) logged 20 live shows *** since May '04.
Six of these shows were outdoors (Two of which were drive-in movie
live soundtracking in HOT humid and conditionsamidst swarms of
insects) I carry the Racks myself but they ride on the truck with
everything else. I recently took the scope and DVM to the whole
shebang to calibrate it and tighten things up for the coming season,
and the Wiard components required ZERO maintenance, not even a twist
to a trimmer pot. Gigging is punishing use for analogs and i fully
expected that the Wiards would require a bit of babying to
survive...WRONG! Everything ELSE needed work but the Wiards shook it
off like a sucker punch and sat there askin' what else i could throw
at 'em
Kudos Grant, all that elegance imparts robust performance as a side
effect.
The SNO is ready to hit the hot asphalt of Midwestern parking lots
for another season!

BTW i want to state for the record, that Steve Curtin's inclusion
of a PROTO-Block in his performance rig wins the 'Cajones Del Acero'
award for DIY road warriorism. I doff my hat to you sir...That ROX!

avanti!
