(sound of ton of bricks falling) whoa! i wonder how many of us dialed Big Briar/Moog Music and heard a rapid-fire "Big Briar, Bob speaking-" in that quick NYC accent, and then were astonished to realize that Bob friggin' MOOG was on the the other end of the line and, even more astonished that he didn't seem to be in any particular hurry to get off the call. In my experience, Dr.Moog was generous to a fault, with his time, and his formidable knowledge of elecronics and music. He lived in the fullest way possible because he never stopped learning , changing, and evolving. (if you seek proof of this, read his introduction to the book "Analog Days by T. Pinch & F. Trocco) The loss of such a vital, creative man leaves a vast crater in the landscape of our community and leaves a magnificent gleaming silver and black hole in my heart. Requiescat In Pace, Doctor and eternal thanks for that huge panorama of beautiful knobs -doc
