Joachim Verghese has a lot of the ARP submodule
schematics on his site. I always liked the original
"white face" Odyssey with its 12dB state variable
filter. I perferred it to the MiniMoog... an unpopular
opinion to hold at that time.

Do you know which Electronotes Issue has the similar
filter, I'd like to look that up...

I guess that I'm inspired by the 1950's style
Mission Control equipment (usually a Mars mission
but any sci-fi will do...) To me it makes sense
(ergonomically) to have the knobs associated with
the functions... ie MODULAR.  The Aries has it... the
Andromeda doesn't. 

Maybe I should just buy that Aries from Kevin Lightner
and let it collect dust at my place...  ;^P
