too funny...I haven't checked this group in awhile, and i jump in tonight, and i think folks are talking about my tiny modular--if its the photo with the krazy kat and bikini space girls faceplates. re: Grant was there...hmm, i thought he was, but i could be wrong. when i ordered the Wogglebug, I had two partially filled frac-racks. when i figured out how big the 300 modules were, I hacksawed that space in front and held the whole works together with a 1.5" wide chunk of aluminum (the 2 CGS psycho LFOs in pseudo-Wiard faceplate) in preparation for the arrival of the wogglebug. on the big day, Grant shows up at my apartment and i thought i'd be all slick and just slide the WB in the hole in the racks, but i hadn't taken into acct that it'd be quite a bit deeper than a fracrack. oops. now, i *thought* that I hacksawed a hole in the back of the racks right then and there, but then again, the old memory ain't what she used to be. maybe i waited til Grant left. maybe i've just told that story that way so many times that now that's how i remember it. either way, that was a pretty good day. acquiring what is still the jewel of my current modular and getting to hang out with the good Dr. Richter in person. best, dan > > So Grant was there? When I asked him on the telephone he said > > he didn't know how it was done. That naughty Grant. > > > > regards, > > John > > I can't attest to the fact that Grant was there. I was just told that > he was there. File this under who knows/who cares.
