Hey all, just bumping this as I got no replies last time :( Can anyone help? Is the advanced Boogie manual still in the works? Previously Grant has stated that his page about the Matrix 12 filter chip: http://www.musicsynthesizer.com/Circuitry/Multi-Function%20VCF.htm is essentially also possible with the Boogie. I am a little confused about how to obtain these 16 different filter responses (listed in the picture at the bottom of the above page). I understand that: A) FA FB FC FD corresponds to the Boogie's 6,12,18 and 24 dB outputs B) An external 4 input mixer is needed C) The jumpers on the circuit board of the Boogie need to be in the out of phase position But what I don't really understand is exactly how to patch them all up, and what the "zero's" and "one's" mean in the picture (I am assuming "zero" means OFF, i.e. not used/patched at all, and that "one" means ON, or fully up on the mixer?) For example, if I want a 3 pole hi-pass then I just mix the 6dB (FA) and 24dB (FD) together, yes? But what if I want the 4 pole bandpass - that means not mixing ANY of the outputs, and therefore no signal? That seems strange! Please enlighten us! I want to know how I can really obtain 16 different filter type responses from my Boogie! I am sure I am missing something obvious... Best wishes, Gregg
