Perhaps you could offer a module with a fiberglass faceplate *or* an optional (at extra cost) metal faceplate. That would be an interesting marketing experiment and I'd like to think that the market would reward your vision. My only question is with regard to rigidity, as fiberglass surely needs some type of reinforcement, but that's manageable. The potential is great, as you say.
