Yeah, it's 3/4" pine. Fast grown, which on the plus side means it's cheap (more money to spend of filling the spaces in it) and sort-of light, the downside is that it marks easily. The staining/varnishing of the upper half is finished anyway! All I want to for the future is convert the 1200/frac modules in the lower case from the Blacet skeleton racks they're in to rack rails as in the upper case, thus squeezing in a couple more modules. I've had an absolute blast playing it the last couple of weeks, it really is a great instrument. I'm still looking for a source for those colo(u)red 1/8" jacks you can see in the photos, I'd like to get at least 20 of each colour.
