It's recognised as a great manual. I'm pretty sure that the author then re-wrote it for the sofware emulation, TimeWarp2600 and had the chance to correct a couple of mistakes he made in the original.
The "Gold Book" for Serge's is also available on the net and makes interesting reading too. The EMS Synthi book has also been scanned but I think that is of less general interest.
