Re: [wiardgroup] Re: New Controller Hints

Thanks all, I knew I had seen something on the Wiard site and thank you for all your replies. It certainly is a fun and interesting controller, EMS VC3 joystick to the sophisticated max.
Not Wiard but perhaps some of you will find this of interest. BBC Radio 6 did a feature on the music of Daphne Oram, as far I can see it came off the album of her work (I'm just about to order it). For those that don't know she was part of the BBC Radiophonic workshop, actually she was a founder I think. She developed a technique "Oramics" based on marking film to control oscillators etc.
You can listen to the show for a week at http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/freakzone/

I really need to remember where I put that. If you look in the "photos" section there are
color coded 3D plots of the functions.

The Joysticks are normalized to the JAG inputs. Xin and Yin are the JAG inputs which defeat
the Joystick outputs.

Dome is high in the middle and zeroish at any edge. Edge is 5 volts in the middle, high at
each side and zero at the corners.

Polarity switches the inputs ONLY from 0-10 for controllers to +/-5 for modulators (LFOS)
