Instead of calling Grant frantically to express my excited thoughts on
this I will send it straight to the peanut gallery.
In keeping with the coolness of the 2600 and Synthi concepts, powered
speakers would be kind of apropos.
Here's where it could get interesting. 2 space 19" rack panel (to
match the controller) two simple but good sounding tube amp and
speakers with a fuzz / overdrive switch.
The logic behind the rack format is that it fits with the balance of
Grants theory of 12 modules and controller. So this would allow a user
to have two 8 space racks or 1 16 space.
I know that zvex.com was able to make good sounding mini amps so this
shouldn't be beyond Grant.
I know that there are alot of things lurking in the basement but this
is the kind of product that might have wider appeal to users of other
brands and it could be very elegant.
Descend and discuss,

Re: [wiardgroup] Idea for module

i like the idea, but would much rather see the walkabout oscillator and the Envelooper first, especially the evelooper, that thing seems pretty sharp. i dont know enough about the walkabout oscillator to comment but i like every other module in the 300 series i have played with so i dont see why a different type of oscillator in the mix would be a bad idea....
