If you look in the A/V world there are all kind of monitors in rackmount format. Things
like four 3.5 in high video monitors in a 19 inch rack.

I have also seen really cute self powered stereo monitors in rack format.

What it boils down to is that they sell a lot more of these and at a price I could not
possibly compete with.

They tend to be black, but you can always paint them.
