Just my 2 or 3 cents ...

I mentioned a couple of these to Grant not so long ago, but not to the list ... my Wiard usage tends to be in the context of (rock) bands, so be forewarned. Although I do record purely-electronic sounds on occasion, that's not my primary interest (hence no internet samples of that stuff).

Liquorball
Improvisational noise rock with guest Steve MacKay, sax player from the Stooges. We played 3 times in the LA area one weekend last spring; one live show will be released on LP next year, but this recording is a live-in-studio session:

Glitter Wizard
Uh, like glam psychedelic metal, dude. The Wiard usage is fairly scattered (I'm mostly playing straight organ/string/synth keyboard sounds, but my left hand occasionally strays over to the joystick controllers), "Black Lotus" probably has the most, but most of the others have a bit in the middle and/or end:

Terminalwasteband
Just released a 7" with Wiard on the B-side (I only play violin on the A-side), and only the A-side is on the myspace site, but you can hear the B-side on Brian Turner's excellent WFMU FM show. Someone told me it sounds like the Butthole surfers, which is probably primarily because of the megaphone vocals, and secondarily because of the Wiard noise:

I also enjoyed listening to other peoples' contributions to this thread. I think the Monkeyfinger track was my favorite, if only because I prefer electronic music (sorry, Grant!!!) without (or with less emphasis on) sequencing that most of the others (although I enjoy my Sequantizers, too ...). That said, I thought the sounds in Mike's pluckythump (an apt title) were particularly excellent, and really show off the quality of the Wiard sound (despite - or because of - the filter abuse).

Here's to more Wiard!
