I am sure you could find an equal number of people who do not like Blue ;^) One improvement I have heard suggested is putting a lighter color strip around the edge of the black panel. A number of people have commented to me about black panel edges disappearing in low light (i.e. on stage). That makes it more difficult to get a visual orientation in a swarm of black panels and knobs. The use of a contrasting color around the modules edge would continue the visual design of the EMU and Moog 900 modules. The Celtic overlay on the Wiard is designed to provide visual indication of the module edges. The ancient Celts believed that highly entwined designs warded away Evil. However, this function is not guaranteed ;^) > Hey Grant, how'zabout blueanodizing some blank MOTM spec 4u panels and offering bare (or populated, even better!!) PCB's for us conversion folks? Id love some Wiard modules to match my MOTM, (wish my blacet, doepfer, and concussor could match too!) There are some guys who organize batches of custom silkscreened MOTM panels already, BigBlueWiards screened in white would be a smash hit and would look great!!
