One more Noise Ring question - Do Noise Rings live in a mirror universe
or something? In the manual it reads:

At 5 o'clock position, all zeros are output and the "Chance indicator"
LED is always off.
At 7 o'clock position, all ones are output and the "Chance indicator"
LED is always on.

If I turn the knob all the way clockwise (ie the way the needle goes on
my snowmobile's speedometer when I go faster) the LED come ON, but I
would call that "5 o'clock". And vice versa...

Is this a misprint, or does the Wiard community "live behind the panel"
where 12 o'clock is the same, but 5 and 7 would be reversed...?

The file "clock in question1.jpg" has been uploaded -
Is this the correct orientation and location of D6 in
the Noise Ring block diagram?

Question 2 - At low frequencies, why does the Clock
indicator LED flash at changing frequencies? (Flashes
at 1Hz then faster, then slower - without changing the
CLK pot setting.)

Thanks for reporting the typo. I have updated the manual.

Happy Holidays to All
