Boogie "manual"

Boogie "manual"

2005-05-27 by fhserge

I just started playing with my 2 Boogies (thanks a lot to Ben Vehorn
for confirming that a simple connect to a MOTM 900 power supply should
work and it does)!

And like other mentioned before, it IS a "hell" of filter different
from all the filters I have, trying to destroy my ears...

Now I am searching for infos for the Boogie like a manual explaining
e. g. the CONTROL RANGE knob and example patch sheets but cannot find
them. I absolutely appreciate all the tips and sound examples I found
in this newsgroup from other "friendly guys"...THANK YOU!

Frank

hi frank,

as far as i know, the "control range" is just an attenuator for the
"control in" jack, so for example, if your envelope generator doesn't
have an attenuator on it's output, you can use the "control range"
knob as an "env to filter cutoff amount" knob, or with an audio input
as an "fm amount" controller etc.

again, as far as i know, the "key in" jack tracks the filter at v/oct
so you can use it to accurately track keyboard or sequencer voltages.

i've never really been one for patch diagrams, as everyone's setups
are different, and it's good to experiment!

hope that helps! please correct me if i'm wrong!

btw, do i have to move both the jumpers to the top position to get all
the poles at the same phase, or just one, and if just one, then which?

gregg.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
