Concept Mapping

For years I have been watching for the development of so called "meta" level knowledge tools for capturing complex tribal knowledge (like synthesizers and electronic music) in a historically preservable form. The have all sucked up to this point, because they are not fun. If they are not fun, no one will use them, or read them, or learn them. Here is a new one that is actually fun, so it might get used for something. The web-site is even fun just to poke around in. Simple enough for a child to understand, but complex enough for very large subjects. Graphical hyper-hyperlinking with support for all media types and operating systems. Free. http://cmap.ihmc.us/Index.html
