very interesting, my fave bit is from 13min-14min really cool stuff, also some of it could/should have been snipped out and used in the soundtrack for the original texas chainsaw massacre. good stuff

Hi Dennis,

A nice piece, good bit of the Olde Schoole.

I finished your Wave City module yesterday and am working on the custom Noise Ring.

Still puzzling over how to get a clock in/out switch into the Noise Ring in a non-ugly way.

Did you get a panel designed for the Mini-Wave expander board to go underneath the
Wave City? I would be interested in seeing the final design you came up with.

The 28 pin jumper Dave Hylander ships is 12 inches long, which should be long enough if
you leave the cover off the Wave City and the expander is located directly beneath the
module.

Best,

Grant

Ok, I wrote this all out then realized that it probably has little to
nothing to do with the actual problem of adding to a WFC. But, FWIW,
attached is the "Maxiwave" FPD I used to mount a MiniWave and a
Frac-format Hylander Expander behind the same 300 series sized panel. It
was a clean swap, I just removed the 1U frac panel from the front and
dropped it in. Ok, a little fiddling with the LEDs was necessary, but
this was adapted from the FPD file David sent me directly, and it works
great.

I'm finishing up a dual-miniwave-plus-shift-register too, I'll post pix
and FPDs to the files area when I get it all wrapped up.

cheers,
Paul

Hi Dennis,

Yahoo didn't store the attachment, perhaps you could post it in the "Files" section?

Best,

Grant

Hey Grant,

That was actually me. File posted, "MaxiWave-Expander-v5.fpd". Hope it's
useful to someone. Pix soon.

Paul
