When did this turn into the society for artistic modular synth faceplatedesign?

How about some patch ideas or suggestions for future modules

If you have panel artwork concerns please take it up with Grant or start a separate news group.

Next topic pleasethankyou

Future Modules

2002-04-11 by C. Whitten

Well we had the discussion about future modules a couple of months ago and
it wasn't that lively a debate and there doesn't seem to have been any
developments since. Anyway.....
How likely is a new module in the near future?
I was very intrigued by Grant's stated ideas.
Speaking personally, I'd much rather see a couple of new modules than a
Wiard mini synth.
Having finally heard some of the Subotnick stuff I'm also intrigued to hear
how similar (sounding) the Wiard modules are to some of the Buchla designs.
Back briefly to the faceplate thing (in a constructive way I hope):
The main criticism levelled at Wiard in the EM review was the 'steep
learning curve' and the confusing layout.
Whether these criticisms are justified or not I'm sure some of the expert
Wiard users in the group could add some input to individual module manuals
should they be made available in future.

And we know that there were no ulterior motives...

I found it very disturbing that Mr. Rich gave the Wiard and the M*TM
equal points for features. Jigga what ?

Do modulars really need manuals ? Seriously.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
