There's no way to convert a sequencer pattern to an arp pattern.  There
is, however, a sysex dump that will save arp patterns and restore them.
 I'm not sure if this is what you want it to do; sorry, the name
collision between sequencer patterns and arp patterns is confusing. 
The 4th screen in the Arp menu is SEND MIDI SYSEX DATA which can be
used to dump and restore arp patterns.
