Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hey,

  The emu launchpad is a great midi merge box.

  I use a StudioLogic keyboard, an emu  launchpad, and the 
mp-7 along w/ a sampler.  The keyboard midi out into the 
launchpad midi in and the midi out of the launchpad into the midi 
in of the mp-7.  The keyboard is routed to channel b01 and the 
launchpad can be set to any b channel sound.  The mp-7 
sequence is left with all of the a channels and the sampler is 
triggered by midi out B.   

   This way you can jam three controllers live.  I use the keyboard 
for leads, the launchpad for added drum stuff, and the mp-7 for 
tweaky sounds.  A cool way to get around the one midi in on the 
mp-7.
