hey howdy all.... made this amazing little preset today.....great sound but....unfortunately, it was based on a preset that was mono. i need some help to un-mono this sound... i'm kinda stuck. any help appreciated.... >>>You could go to the Preset Edit menu, and change the pan settings, that would be the easiest. If that doesn't do what you're after, and if you're preset has less than two layers being used, you can use this little trick to make the preset more "stereo like": 1. Go into the Save menu and copy the layer and patchcords for the first layer to the second layer. If you're using two layers already (I assume 1&2), do the same, but copy layer 1 to layer 3, and layer 2 to layer 4. Patchcords too. Save the Preset to a new location real quick just to be safe. 2. In the Preset Edit menu, go to the Tuning Page, and set the first layer to +3, second layer to -3, (third to +3, and the fourth to -3). 3. Still in Preset Edit, go to the Amplifier page and set layer one's pan to 64R, layer two to 64L, (layer three to 64R, and layer four to 64L). There you have it, instant stereo spread. Obviously you can play with this some to fit your needs, you don't have to use panning all the way to the extremes, and you can increase the tuning amount to increase the effect too. <<< on a side note... realm, listening to your live set has re-kindled my love affair with my xx-7...hearing 60 mins straight of non stop xx-7 action has really inspired me to dig deeper into my purple box... >>>Hmmm, so many jokes waiting to be said with this one... ;) Glad you enjoyed it though! <<< rEalm [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
