-------exactly, they only play their own internal sequence patterns.

it might make their timing get weird, worth a try tho...

with the preset that is called up on the EA1 and ER1 (not the
DX200). I know that the pattern will hold that information, but I
don't know how much room I need to leave at the beginning of any
track so I can input this information ? is one tick enough? Won't
this mess up the timing of the sequence?

it WOULD affect the timing of your sequence, but only for brief
moment the very first time that pattern plays. It won't happen
everytime the pattern loops, as long as you put the sysex on the
first tick, or tick 0. I think that 1 tick will be fine too (in
terms of length).<<<>
--------more food for thought. thanks a bunch rEalm, maybe I WILL be
able to make this work!
