This will be the first thing I try tonight.  The way you put it makes 
it sound very simple.

One other thing I have't figured out.  When you (or the manual) say 
preset, are you referring to the individual instruments/notes(kick, 
snare, hi hat) or the entire kit?  I ask because I'm primarly using 
the PX 7 as a drum machine, and I'm putting each drum instrument on 
its own track.  Kick on 1, snare on 2, ect.  Would I be panning the 
individual drum sounds or the entire kit?

Either way, you helped me a great deal.  If you can only pan the kit, 
I can always use or set up a kit with all kicks, another with all 
snare, ect.

Thanks again.  I'll do some searches as well.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
