Basically it's a way to scroll through all of the notes or events (ie, 
CC's, aftertouch, etc) you have recorded in the sequencer.  It allows you 
to make fine adjustments to things liek note position and velocity after 
you've recorded something.  You can enter and delete notes and events 
there too.  It's located in the 2nd and 3rd to last screens in Pattern 
Edit.  It's a good place to check if you have a note that sounds wrong, 
you need to change a previously recorded part without having to rerecord 
it.  Lots of uses for this actually....
