I did not know that the pan and volume did not transmit on the b 
output, seems odd.

The only thought I had was timing.  Keeping things devided can keep 
things a little tighter.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
