That's a tough question. Just by itself? Probably not. While I use the PX-7 sounds a lot in my song for drums and percussion, I use SX to sequence them, and apply a lot of quality dynamics processing from the UAD-1 card. Most of the synths and bassline are from the Virus KC too, which is very hard to mimic in the XX-7. Not saying that you can't get good quality out of the XL-7, but I find it hard to truthfully tell someone that it can do what thousands of dollars of specialized studio gear can do. I'd love to have you prove me wrong though! rEalm Sounds good as hell to me. Can the XL-7 make stuff that has that much quality, just by itself.
