Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

It's been a while since I paid attention.  I'm sure Eric can answer 
most of these right away.  These are things I thought might have 
been added with 2.0, but i'm not sure...  So here...

Can you change from pattern to pattern without changing the mute 
status?  Usually it calls up the saved mutes from the previous 
pattern.

XMIX - great function. One problem I've been having is if I play 
pattern 001 and then want to bring in a drum variation on track 2 
from pattern 002 then maybe a different variation from pattern 003, 
can I bring back the original from track 1?  It seems to save the 
info into track one, so it doesn't look like it's possible.  Is 
there a way to just bring the track back to it's original state 
while playing?

This is a still a great board.  I have a Motif now and that's 
awesome too.  It looks like they adopted a lot of the cool features 
from the xx-7's.  The mp7 keeps up great with it for the most part.  
The sounds aren't quite as good, but the editing possibilities 
completly make up for it!

Still trying to find an preset editor via computer that works well.  
anyone have good experiences with one or the other?
