Well depending what headphones you plug in will effect the amount volume you will get out of the unit. ie ive just got some HD25's that will take your head off if your not carefull. I brought these to replace some DT100's i brought. These were the 400 ohm impedance varity and i struggled with those in regards to getting enough volume out of them in certain (live) situations. So lower impedance < 100 ohms should yeild higher volume (not the only parameter though..) Maybe you do have a problem with the headphone amp in the unit though How are the L/R main outs doing in respect to level? What headphones are you using? Are they ok on something else? Gonz
