Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi,

Here's the situation. I have an E-mu PX7 with Beat Garden,MP7, and 
XL7 ROMS. I also have a Korg Karma, Korg Wavestation, and a Yamaha 
AN1x synth. I'm primarily a keyboard player, so I'm fooling around 
with the synths when I have the time. I'm just starting to fool 
around with the PX7. I want to utilize the PX7 with my other gear. I 
keep reading about how people use the xx7 to control other gear,etc. 
The question is, I'm not sure I understand this. Can I connect the 
PX7 to my synths (MIDI, I guess) and have everything playing at the 
same time? I'm not quite sure how this works. I hope this isn't a 
stupid question. 

I've been spending more time with the PX7, so I'm starting to 
understand it a little bit better. I get frustrated sometimes, 
because it seems like a job programming tracks on it. Again, this is 
coming from someone who plays the piano, keys, etc. Sometimes I 
think about selling it and getting another synthesizer, but 
something tells me that I would be making a mistake to get rid of 
it. 

Any advice would be appreciated.
