Yes, you can use USB to upload sequences, the only thing you NEED MIDI 
for, is updating the OS.

Does anyone know if E-loader can be used to upload sequence on the 
XL7 using the USB connection ONLY, or it has to be the MIDI IN and 
OUT also ?
