Re: [xl7] Re: XL7 Sequencer for playing external MIDI

Nah, the internal resolution won't affect you at all, and there's no
rounding errors. All the possible resolutions you'd see in any sequecner
easily divide into each other, with no errors. It's not audio
manipulations after all ;)

Basically your sequencer still knows it's a quarter note, or half note
(whatever), regardless of the editing resolution. They don't affect each
other at all. If you're transferring files, the sequencer you import into
will convert it to the correct resolution, no problems there. If it's a
higher resolution, you'll just get more ticks in between your notes, lower
resolution means less ticks obviously.

Yes, if you're editing the same passage in two different sequencers (don't
know why you'd want to), then it could get confusing as the note locations
(number of ticks) may be different. Just edit on one and then use
E-Loader for the transfer.

There will be rounding errors when bouncing tracks between sequencers. And
then there is the brain strain that occurs when scrolling though the same
data in two different boxes. ;^)
