I'm just using stereo speakers for the moment, until I get reference monitors. I noticed the noise change on the headphones, originally. I'm convinced that it must be the cables I'm using to connect the XL- 7 to the AW16G. If I listen closely to the headphones plugged into the XL-7, the sound is perfect. If I listen to the AW16G with the headphones (after I've recorded the hi-hats), the sound change is noticeable. If I use the stereo speakers to listen to the AW16G's playback, the sound change is noticeable as well. So obviously it must be the cabling between the XL-7 and the AW16G. Unless, as previously mentioned, there's something wrong with the left and right Audio outs on the XL-7. I hope it's just the cables..... --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "malik" <malik_martin@h...> wrote: > > ould also be your spekers now that u mentioned headphones. > you using hifs or monitors? > > --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "Fab Claxton" <fabclaxton@y...> wrote: > > > > On further inspection, I think it must be the cables I'm using.
