I can't help with the proteum, since I have not used it. Perhaps others can. As for being fully functional, PatchPro 1.0 uses sliders for the envelops; it does not have a click-and-drag graphic interface. Also, it does not have arps. However, a week or so ago I heard from the author. He is working on several improvements--including arps support. The beta version he sent has an arps window for selecting mode, pattern, and the various arp settings. So far, it does not have a window to select from arp patterns by name--just by number. Also, it does not yet have an arp pattern editor. As for sound design--editing, layers, controllers, patchcord, effects, and links--it works for me (WinXP, P2500--OS2.0, XL-1-- OS2.26 via an old parallel-port MOTU midi interface). --Steve --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, jlv <jlv@t...> wrote: > It's proteum but I can test the patch pro if it's fully > functionnal. > > Steve quote "For this step, make sure you are looking at the e-mu > in view preset Mode" > > oups I'm not in edit mode I think, I go test it this night.
